L’ENSEIGNEMENT

Michel Barbaud partage sa vie de musicien entre l’enseignement et sa pratique artistique. Très actif au sein des conservatoires de Malakoff et Puteaux, il coordonne le département jazz de Vallée Sud Grand Paris qui regroupe 9 conservatoires.

Il travaille à l’organisation d’actions culturelles avec les deux Scènes Nationales du territoire, Les Gémeaux et le Théâtre 71 ainsi que le Parc Départemental de Sceaux (92) Création d’orchestre éphémère autour d’un artiste, création de spectacle mêlant la danse le théâtre, la musique classique, jazz et musiques actuelles. Il a collaboré avec : Franck Tortiller, Benjamin Moussay, Karl Jannuska, Stéphane Payen, Eric Barret, Amy Gamlen, Frédéric Sylvestre, Eric Lohrer, Guillaume Orti, Christophe Panzani, Olivier Py, Hubert Dupont, Pierre Perchaud …
Il intervient aussi dans les écoles, seul où avec son orchestre « Dans Les Cordes with a Beat Of Electricity » pour des projets d’action culturelle. Les conservatoires lui commandent régulièrement des pièces.

Michel Barbaud shares his life as a musician between teaching and his artistic practice. Very active in the conservatories of Malakoff and Puteaux, he coordinates the jazz department of Vallée Sud Grand Paris which groups together 9 conservatories. COCKTAIL MALAKOFF

Il joue et écrit pour le Cocktail Malakoff, une formation de 15 musiciens soutenue par le Théâtre 71 et le conservatoire de Malakoff. Il a coordonné la création de cet orchestre pour lequel écrivent aussi Andy Emler, Régis Huby, Yves Rousseau, Clovis Labarrière et Yann Joussein.

He plays and writes for Cocktail Malakoff, a group of 15 musicians supported by Théâtre 71 and the conservatory of Malakoff. He leaded the creation of this orchestra for which Andy Emler, Régis Huby, Yves Rousseau, Clovis Labarrière and Yann Joussein wrote music.

CLOWNS SANS FRONTIÈRES

Engagé auprès de l’ONG Clowns sans Frontières, il participe à deux missions à Chennai en Inde. Octobre 2011 élaboration d’une parade musicale avec 50 enfants du bidonville Gandhi Nagar en partenariat l’association Speed Trust. En novembre 2012 création musicale pour un spectacle avec 9 comédiens indiens. Représentation à l’Alliance Française, des Orphelinats et le bidonville Gandhi Nagar.

Committed to the NGO Clowns without Borders, he has been involved in two missions in Chennai, India.
